Village Facilities

Findon has four pubs or bars all serving food. In addition there are two restaurants and a tearoom. There is a village shop and post office and a Butcher a few doors away. For a weekend or weekly shop, there is a Tesco Local in Findon Valley or numerous shops in nearby Worthing.

A short distance out of the village is the 11th century flint parish church of St John the Baptist. Footpaths radiate out of the village in all directions so it is easy to plan short and long circular walks. The ancient hill forts of Cissbury and Chanctonbury are both a short distance away.

The village is well served by public transport. Regular bus services go to Worthing, Horsham and Midhurst. Train services from Worthing station go directly to Brighton, Chichester, Portsmouth, Gatwick Airport and London Victoria. Contact us.

A hundred yards from The Haven is Nepcote Green. This open space is hugely popular with dog walkers. Every year on the 2nd Saturday in September it is home to the Findon Sheep Fair and Festivalwith craft stalls, sheep displays and other entertainment on the green.
